Where the F have you been? I mean besides on the GILF prowl.
Could be the one watch Hoppy's owned for more than a month or two - which speaks volumes.
I know there are one or two others, but can't recall who.
Edit: plucking from from my typewriter and late once again.

Extremely well built.Sniper13 wrote:I've really been looking at one also. They seem very well built.
The movement and handset are made in Switzerland. All of the other components; case, crystal, dial, strap, even the box, are made in Los Angeles.
Re: Weiss
Seems a bit pricey to me, but then again I'm in a bad mood tonight. Looks about a $550 watch from where I sit.
But I also think Christopher Ward is way over priced.

I can't disagree with this. But we all know that in a watch like this what drives up the price is what's inside. Still overpriced by $200+outtatime wrote:Seems a bit pricey to me, but then again I'm in a bad mood tonight. Looks about a $550 watch from where I sit.

Oh and ChrWard just blows all around

Re: Weiss
I used to have a Weiss (black dial) - I liked the watch but it wore large on me, plus there was a dust particle on the dial which really annoyed me (just shoddy QC). I ended up returning the watch instead of going through the wait and repair process (and Cameron Weiss lives close to where I live). I did like the "Los Angeles, CA" on the dial however.

At their retail, yes they are. But considering that I was trying to sell a CW watch with the same movement as this Weiss and similar or better decoration on the displayback for half the price, no, they are not. CW is a brand to buy on sale, or used.andrema wrote:CW is way overpriced
