Damn, it's been 6 years at this crazy place already?

For the new guys, there are some old threads talking about the origins of how DWC came into being.

Short version:

Started as Y3 founded by the now discredited Yamahaki (once a major player on WUS). Most came over from the WUS dive and omega forums. I think I got a PM from Chris (Moishlashen) about the new place, then was asked to be a mod.

Shortly thereafter, Yamahaki went full paranoid retard, gave Derek (eczheese)control of the forum. Derek promptly crashed it, killing everyone's post count.

Then about 2 years later he gave it to Wu, and we've been kicking ass ever since.

Best forum on the web, not only because of the Rockstar Mods, but really because of all the awesome members, and our respect for each other, even when we disagree about stuff. We've weeded out the thin skinned and obnoxious, or rather, they weed themselves out. So it's really a credit to all you guys this has been such an awesome place.

Looking forward to the future with you darn knuckleheads. Even Pat.

And my kids were in grade school, and now they are both on college. Crazy!
