I've tried a few on but something about the proportions is just "off."

I'm wearing my 36mm Datejust again today. I think the new 40mm Datejust will hit that sweet spot of size vs. proportions.

I'm not a fan of the cyclops in general; the OP Joe posted is more to my liking. :thumbsup:

I really like this model and especially the blue dialed one, although I would prefer it without the cyclops. But even used it ranges between $5000 and $6000 as far as I can see which seems to be quite high for such a simple design and features. It's really a "Rolex lover's watch" or a "Status quo" type watch in my opinion. Can easily get something else along the same lines for a lot less.

I actually love the blue dial with the smooth bezel. Great watch imo and super versatile.

I've been shopping Datejust for a while, torn between vintage and contemporary. The Datejust II is tempting but essence of the Datejust below somehow got lost along the way.

I had the blue dial (for a little while).


Fluted bezel wore pretty cool.
