First of all, it's rubber

Second, that is a brand name (IsoFrane - with N)

Finally, they wear fantastic and are well built

I don't like rubber straps at all, but was almost won over by Isofrane. Soft and comfortable, but not sticky or lint magnet like silicone.

Fans rave about them but many, myself included, don't care for the design.

I wouldn't mind seeing a plain version, sans holes (like SAS) but with standard Isofrane cut, buckle, etc.

Also, a curved end version would be nice.

Curved ends, no holes and a trimable tail would expand its appeal a great deal.

I like trim. I like tail.

No need to trim the tail. That is what the second keeper is for.

Wish ISOfrane would bring back the straps that were mounted on the Aquastar Benthos 500 and the Scubapro 500. I would be all over these.

Agree. I cannot stand the scent of vanilla on them, either. Personal preference.

For the life of me I don't know why they, or someone else, does not reproduce the strap that they built for the Scubapro.

Chicks love the vanilla. I can't imagine anyone can smell it from their wrist for it to matter anyways.

On this you would be incorrect.

My 20mm blue one does have a strong vanilla sent but it doesn't bother me. Guess I'm partial to a musty wrench odor

To be honest, I really do not care for the Aquastar or Scubapro ISO straps. The tail is too narrow and the buckles aren't great.

A standard vintage ISO is the tits though!

Agree. Make it using the same design style but with modern touches. Non tapering and with a larger buckle.

Never found a rubber strap I liked including Isofrane. Just plain and simply don't like the feel. And the whole vanilla thing is a mystery to me why anyone would want that smell on them.
cheers,

Keith

Don't really care for the ISOfrane; it's ok....Both the JLC rubber and Bremont Temple Island have worked well for me..
