Saw this on Hodinkee a while ago and thought it looked pretty good considering some of Bulova's more gaudy designs. $550 price point but with the discounts associated with the brand I'm sure you can get $200 off not too long after they hit the online market. I might be in for one.

I was just going to post this. The Hodinkee piece doesn't provide the size of the watch. Assuming it's not ridiculously small or ridiculously big, it would be a fun grab and go to have.

It does look great and if as you mentioned can eventually be found for 300-400 I think it's a lot of watch for the money. The box is nice as well.

I saw that one this morning and I must say I do like it a lot even if the pushers aren't my favorite style. Price isn't bad either.
Curious about case size. Hoping it's about 41-42mm and <=50mm l2l.
I'd love to get one

Looks very cool indeed. I searched the original model number to find the dimensions, but no luck.
Awesome strap, too.

That looks fantastic. It's hard to find a classic chrono in quartz.

Damn that looks great and I really like the strap choices also! Now I hope it is 42mm or under.

Looks like Bulova hit a real home run with this one. Man oh man, really
has that vintage personality, or character to it.

Wow, beautiful honestly !!!
Hadn't seen it I don't think either, so thanks so much for the news about it !

It has nice looks, for sure. I'd love to see this with an acrylic crystal, but I fear it'll have a mineral crystal like other Precisionists.
No, it's not Tourettes.

I agree. It's nice to see that. A Bulova Marine Star was my first "real" watch and so it's nice to see them get away from their usual mall watch inspired designs

Me too. I wore it every day for about 12 years. My dad still wears it.

Solid, a definite less is more esthetic.
Glad the dates in there though....

The Accutron II's also push a lot of buttons for me. Retro aesthetic, insanely accurate, sweeping second hand, inexpensive . . . a lot to like there.

45mm might be a little too large. Too bad they did not do it the size of the original. That's probably close to the Omega speedy.

Could that measurement be wrong? I'd think if it was 45mm the date and sub dials would all be crowded in the center of the dial.

I emailed Bulova Chris and that response was from the Global Communications Coordinator...I would hope she'd relay the correct information.
