I was introduced to this forum through a recent NYC get together and it was a pleasure to talk watches with people who seem even more into watches than I am. My friends have been getting tired of my recent horological obsession so this is a pretty good outlet for me to geek/dork out on time pieces. Some amazing stuff you guys brought. Unfortunately my collection is a little thin until I decide what to get next. (Been thinking about a Tag Monaco Gulf, if I can ever get over getting a Tag).
Here's some pics of my most recent pickup which I got locally in NYC as well. Unfortunately had to let go of a great AT Chrono for it but I'm pretty happy with the deal right now because I've wanted one of these for a long time. Now I'm strap shopping and debating between dark blue or sticking with black alligator.
Hopefully you guys won't mind if I bring my DSLR to the next meet.

It was great to meet you Thursday, Jae. That AT Chrono was fantastic, but this is pretty fantastic also. Like I said that night, you can always get another AT.

It was great to meet you and discuss watches. Though you were hesitant to go through with the deal, you picked up a great watch to go with your new job's dress requirements. (though I am shocked at some of the watches I see people wear with suits, but that is a whole other conversation) I am glad you checked out this forum and think you will enjoy it. By all means bring the DSLR next time.

As far as your next purchase, have you considered Invicta? They make very nice Swiss watches and you can get a couple dozen for the price of that IWC..
