Did you consult with WUS content creator and Google search master 3OOmm before creating this review?

Its a shame that watch is so big, but I have to say it is hands down the most Billy-bad-ass watch that Seiko has made to date!

Put that 36000bph, 8L55 in a smaller case and it would make me a one watch guy...

What a watch Brett, and you know it may not be a Grand Seiko, but it sure
looks like one from here ! Without even looking at the dial, or movement you
can see that the watch is finished in such a phenomenal way. ..Can just
imagine what it's like in person there.

Beyond the finishing you're just floored by the case shape, along with bezel
from all angles. The drill bit design of the bezel is unbelievable, and the lines,
as well as curves of the case rock. ..Works perfectly with the traditional,
yet edgy dial the watch has. Holy cow, this one's just too good Brett ! Thanks
again for another awesome review !

wow...nice piece!

i agree that the size is a bit bigger than what most people will elect to have on their wrist, but there's no denying that this is bad-ass nonetheless. the case and bezel looks phenomenal, and the hands actually look right on this (as opposed to the new Tunas).

thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review / link. I love that drill-bit bezel design. Just rocks.

Great review. It wears more comfortably than the specs would suggest. Regarding the accuracy, I actually didn't realize they were unadjusted, mine runs +1 day.

It's not too big for the great MM300 of WUS fame and his white loafers.;)

I love mine, it looks great with cords! It wears on the small side, don't let my dainty, girl wrists deceive you...

All that MM300 silliness a side... cool movement, interesting lineage but not a reasonable size for all but a fringe watch nerd. (... er us I mean.)

I LOVE mine. It's just a beautiful piece and wear so light with her size. Great review too.

Too damn big for me but . . . very nice.

But can somebody explain to me why the date window is shoved up against the 5 marker as opposed to being centered between 4 and 5? I've seen this on everything from Seikos, to CW's to $150 Bulovas.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I'm hoping they're adjusted, or produced to very tight tolerances anyway...Seiko habitually underrates their movements so I'm really hoping that's the case here. Your report is the first I've heard on the accuracy, but it would seem to suggest that Seiko is being conservative with their accuracy numbers.

That's a good question...but unfortunately I have no idea. I can't think of any watchmaking reason to do that.

If it was a realistic size I would buy one...48 by 20.... :raised:

Excellent review as always...

OK, I feel the need to post a couple pics to show that the watch really isn't as gigantic as the now famous MM300 shots make it appear to be. Don't get me wrong, it's not small, but it's not (in my opinion) the monstrosity it's being made out to be. The lug to lug is the same as a 44mm Panerai, and the diameter is only slightly bigger than the 300mm Tunas we all know and love. Yes, it's thick, there's no denying that, but as you can see from these pics, I don't wear a suit to work, so the thickness doesn't bother me. My arms are too short to take a selfie, so I had to get my wife to help, so now she thinks I'm even crazier than she thought 5 minutes ago. I know I'll regret posting pics, and I'm sure you guys will have fun bashing me, so have at it, but I felt compelled.

Never mind, I knew it was a mistake... I will now attempt to re-join DWC under a different username..
