Re: German?
Cool shot.
This may have been discussed before but I was just curious, is there some reason that the CD1 dials don't say 'Made in Germany' like the CD2 dials? I've also seen some photos of the CD2 that say 'Swiss Made' on the dial.
Great watches no matter what the dial says, just an observation.

Hey neat Mark !
Liking how you took the picture with them crisscrossing like this !!!
You can really appreciate the designs, but also finishes that the watches
have, and let's face it..It's just fun seeing them all together ! We'll call
them the Fantastic Four ! ..Very cool Mark ! THX for sharing !

Re: German?
He originally was getting his dials from German but I think he changed because of some issues. So now they are Swiss made if I recall correctly.logan2z wrote:Cool shot.

Cool, nice group shot! I've just ordered another German watch, but maybe not one you're familiar with? Love the Deutsche uhren

Originally the CD2 was assembled in Germany, with German dial and German case. Swiss Mov and Swiss hands. Makes the watch German.
The Swiss made ones were the LE assembled in Switzerland by Thomas Prescher, but that never happened.
They now do not say ''Made In'' because while al parts remain the same origin, they are assembled and QC'd in Australia. This then has issues with ''Made In XXX''
They are for the most part German, the rest is Swiss.
That watch in the picture is the prototype built by Thomas Prescher,
