New Arrival...it's a whopper

Post by BSears » Tue Dec 01, 2009 5:13 pm

and it ain't from Burger King. Marathon LGP aka JSAR :fro: Hot off the UPS truck this afternoon. Got the bracelet, but haven't had a chance to size it and try my hand at installing it. :whip: Here's a few really quick and really dirty pics. Enjoy

Thanks guys. I've been practicing :jerk: Lume is crazy on this thing. I'm going to try and get some better pics - I need some natural light. That's later. Waiting on watchbuys to get the sinn rubber back in stock - they said a 3-4 week wait on them as of 11/20. Found a guy in the UK (Neil at chronomaster.co.uk) but he can only sell/ship within the UK. He's actually a little cheaper than watchbuys for those across the pond that want to snag a Sinn. :fro:

Yeah, that looks great! I only wear mine in the water due to the musculature of my arm... 8-) Ok, I'm just too skinny to sport it correctly, but very cool watch!

BTW, if that is a new bracelet, get ready to work on those screws. Marathon puts seizing compound in the threads.

CONGRATS!

yeah, i had that problem with my gsar bracelet. i'm gonna try lots of hot water first. not really looking forward to it so i'm putting it off until tomorrow. i wish they'd stop doing that, it's a pain in the ass. :banghead: my task is made even more difficult by a head cold and nighttime medicine. :crybaby: :baby:

Nice pickup, Brad! I always wish I could pull off the JSAR, but since I know I can't, I'll be content to look for your pics.
