Re: Holy Shit - The Kalmar of kalmars + Mokume Kalmar + Buck
Kind of a funny OCD story, although I know we frown upon changing the subject. Back before I worked for myself, I had to wear suits every day, and my closet was very organized, suits together, shirts together, everything facing the same way, proper spacing, etc etc. One day I came home and went to hang up my jacket and BAM, my wife had misarranged my entire closet. (This was my first wife, we're no longer together) She thought it was funny as hell, I nearly had a stroke. I think she was trying to tell me something.

No, no, she really wasn't a bitch, it was kind of an ongoing joke about my type A personality vs her more relaxed personality. It really was very funny. Once I rearranged the closet.gwells wrote:That she was a bitch?

Sounds like my closet. I like to think OCD stands for Organized Compulsive Disorder. Sounds better to me.jswing wrote:Kind of a funny OCD story, although I know we frown upon changing the subject. You mean to say Matt had to give up the Rolex so he can stay in DWC, on the Internet, and married??
That's how I read it too.

Man, that's just not nice. Kick his ass over loud straps, but let him have his choice of watches.BBK357 wrote:WTFjswing wrote:I knew you had a lot of H2O's but only one Seiko?Danny_T wrote:I'm at 11 1/2 right now + 4 incoming/pre-orders (2 Orca Torpedo, CH8, and Hydra). How many are you up to Dan? Can't imagine anyone ordering more than you
The novelty of all these materials would wear off sooner than later for me but props to Clemens and his company
You could actually buy a decent watch if you wouldn't have bought those.

I like that. I tend to think of strong organizational skills as a plus. :D59yukon01 wrote:Sounds like my closet. I like to think OCD stands for Organized Compulsive Disorder. there're organizational skills and then there are "ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS!"

Holy watchbox Batman! For that much money you could have a nice Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and a Rolex Sub for a beater!Danny_T wrote:I'm at 11 1/2 right now + 4 incoming/pre-orders (2 Orca Torpedo, CH8, and Hydra). She was perfect for you. I too have an OCD condition and my wife is the opposite. She knows what ticks me off so she uses that to her advantage, lol. After my first son smeared his oily hands on my covered flat screen TV, I thought I was going to flip. I then realized that it was rather trivial and insignificant. Three boys later, I have become less of an OCD and less stressed .jswing wrote:Kind of a funny OCD story, although I know we frown upon changing the subject. Anyways, carry on fellas.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.
