Maybe time for an extended vacation in Nepal?
My wife said Bora Bora. I think her exact words were "What's the worst these watch nerds can do to you, sue you?"

Sorry for the noob-ish question here, but I'm wondering if this watch would take a super engineer II bracelet? I love the look of this, but I'm a fan of steel bracelets.....
......just concerned about the 4.6mm bracelet thickness and it fitting the lugs.

I can't see any reason a straight end bracelet won't fit. Whether it will look good is another matter.Hornet wrote:Sorry for the noob-ish question here, but I'm wondering if this watch would take a super engineer II bracelet? I love the look of this, but I'm a fan of steel bracelets.....

Looks like there is enough room......CGSshorty wrote:I can't see any reason a straight end bracelet won't fit. ......how it looks is what concerns me. Not having SELs is what kinda put me off the Armida A7.
Edit: on second thought it does give me an opportunity to indulge in some nice straps for a change.......

I'm going to put it on an Isofrane and forget about it.

adding a generic bracelet would have ruined some of the charm of the watch, and commissioning a custom one would have changed the price point.
i adore bracelets on my divers, but having some on a strap/nato/etc is OK too. the fact that one isn't offered here is a strength imo.

Happy Monday Gents...
Just wanted to share some more prototype pictures of the Baltic Shield. Now that I have had the two test watches for a few days I can honestly tell you I am super excited. We have a few tweaks to make (hand set, bezel sizing, lume application to insert) but... I think you will all be pleased with the end result. I love the watch case and crystal profile. The watch has great wrist presence and is extremely comfortable on the Nato strap.
So... bear with me and I assure you I will deliver a solid watch.
Thank you,
Todd @ KWC

If those tweaks work out well, you'll have made quite a watch.

Looking good, and tough! Is the height still the specified 13.5mm?

i'm liking what i'm seeing!
i came too late to the party for the pre-order pricing, but even at paying full price, this looks to be a steal!
