Back from the dead
Fresh in from a one year trip from ABC to IWW...all restored and serviced
Before:
After:
Overall it was worth the wait and expense. A vintage diver came back from the brink and is now ready to be proudly worn again...

I love scubapro and it looks great now. But holy crap the rehab probably cost twice the watch.

An incredible transformation. Worth the effort for such a cool watch.

Thanks guys! It just shows how talented Jack and ABC are! They both do great work and are a pleasure to work with.

Re: Back from the dead
The watch never came with lug holes Some hack put them in the case...so, removed on purpose!Seppia wrote:Great stuff!
Did you remove the lug holes on purpose or was it the only way to restore it?
Just curious
Re: Back from the dead
The transformation looks outstanding. Love to see these vintage pieces get a second life. Congrats on an awesome dive watch.

Don't think this could have turned out better Mark ! The case looks
fantastic now, and the dial looks great as well. I like how they seamlessly
repaired small details like the red/lume in the second hand, but left the
bezel the way it was. Gives the watch a more lived in feel, and keeps
the watch's character. I'm happy it's back with you Mark.
Keep enjoying !

Resurrection indeed. You brought that baby back from the junk pile. Congrats, that looks awesome.
Re: Back from the dead
Well done. Just enough wabi left on the bezel insert to tell you where it's been.
