Rolex on Antique Roadshow

Old Rolex with a cool backstory. I wonder if the guy actually had the Rolex with him while he was a POW.

What a watch Azteck ! The story behind is was incredible as well.

Saw that the other night on TV. One thing they did not say was how he got the watch. cool article below. Now ad the history of how he got the watch and this watch is worth more than antique road show estimate because of the Rolex folklore of POW's buying watches when POW's .

It has been widely reported that Rolex SA received payment for all the watches they sent to Allied POW's. J
Strength is = 2 or > than "tipping over a so- called smart car plastered in “Coexist” bumper stickers".
