My next project - Karlskrona Baltic Shield
Here are a few renderings of my next project, the Karlskrona Baltic Shield. This watch will have a carbon fiber dial, utilize a Seiko NH35 hacking movement and will have a domed sapphire crystal. I am also designing a yellow dial version.
I may add a yellow seconds hand as well.
Please let me know which hand style you like best of these 3 options:
Thank you all for chiming in!

handset #2. i think you need chunkier than #1 and it was a tossup between 2 and 3 for me. but 2 matches the indices better.

I vote for set 1; set 2 looks like Scurfa.
Re: My next project - Karlskrona Baltic Shield
Number 3 but they need to be a couple of mm longer, at least the minute hand should extend to the middle of the minute markers. The seconds hand should be a little thicker and maybe have a lume dot, arrow shaped like the Omega PO would be awesome. You could have two sets one chrome framed and one white framed. Chromed would be best if the minute markers are also chromed framed. Otherwise it seems it would look great with just the painted on markers.
As for the markers, do something to differentiate the 6 and 9, maybe a little longer, round them out or make them triangular shaped by extending the edges a little. Otherwise it would look monotonous.
I hope the lugs are at least 22mm.
Watch looks great and the Seiko movement is a winner.

Handset #2 for me with red on the second hand tip and circle. Id prefer a triangle to the circle too.
Larger marker at 6 & 9 but Id prefer more balance with date at 6.
Love the case and CF like dial too well done overall. I'm interested

Looks good so far....
#2 for the handset.
I would offer a no-date version as well.
Agree that the 6 and 9 (and 3 if you offer a no-date version) should be a bit different than the other markers.
Also, would have the markers either be applied or use a sandwich dial to create a bit of texture and make the dial more interesting.
Look forward to following your progress on this one.

Looks great! #2 hands would be my choice.

Favorite would be 2 followed by 3

I'd go with option 2.

Baltic Shield?
I guess the good names like Treudd[/] are already taken.
Kinda hard to come up with something for "Baltic Sheild" like we did with Treudd.

I like handset #1, but put the lollipop second hand on it. And a tritium tube would work perfect on each hand with that design.

#2 stands up to the chunky hour markers best for me.

One other thing try to make sure the bezel pip is recessed or flushed. Ever watch I had with a raised one grabbed onto everything.

I really like 1...nice case too
I would honestly do a matte dial. Carbon fiber has lost it's appeal on tool watches.
