Love me some retro done right, sapphire's great, I could leave the date, but it is better than the original date, that's for sure! I really wish someone would bring back the original tropic straps, the Modena one the OEM's source is marginal at best.

This I really like and want to add to the collection, also it won't break the bank, even at retail. J

Re: New Oris Divers Sixty Five
There was another thread about this a few days ago with some other info.
Looks like a nice piece.
I made an enquiry at Friends of Oris (Authorised Online Oris dealer, based here is Australia) and they said they don't have an ETA on these yet (shouldn't be too far away though), and the price is RRP $2300, but they will do it for $1700 $AUD

^^ Looks like a win on all fronts.
I might go for this. In spite of the date.

Re: New Oris Divers Sixty Five
I really like it, but for that kind of coin, I think I would probably pickup an LLD
Re: New Oris Divers Sixty Five
Thanks Matt, if this can be had for around $1700 AUS that's a steal, I'll be looking out for this one. Jmfxr wrote:There was another thread about this a few days ago with some other info.

Oris and (surprisingly to me) Ball have some classic offerings this year.
only accurate watches are interesting
Re: New Oris Divers Sixty Five
Yeah, who'd of thought Oris of all people would have made a great reissue - and at a proper size @ 40mm

This is one I've been waiting for and will take me off the search for the PO (temporarily anyway). Anyone knows of it is for sale in the U.S. Yet? Wonder what kind of discount we can expect in the U.S.? All I know is that I have to have one

Can't be too far off Brice, a dealer here in Sydney said some time this month. JJeep99dad wrote:This is one I've been waiting for and will take me off the search for the PO (temporarily anyway). While I can't swing in right now, this looks like a perfect NATO watch...

I concur, but I think a Nato looks good on almost any watch.hoppyjr wrote:While I can't swing in right now, this looks like a perfect NATO watch...

Great size for a nato watch, and the oris branded black nato seen in some of the early pictures looks great. Apparently its not currently available, but I'm hopping it will be soon. I don't care for the vintage style rubber strap.

I'm hopping to catch one preloved or grey market for around 1,000 - 1,200.Seppia wrote:I had the chance to try this on a couple weeks ago and it's awesome to say the least.
The thing I appreciated the most was its thinness, it really wears super elegant.
The rubber strap seems to be made by Bonetto and is very comfortable.
Overall an extremely well executed watch, I just would not pay the $1600-1800 they ask for it.

Y'all think it's going to that much north of 1200 new? 1600-1800 seems a bit steep for a USA street price.Joeprez wrote:I'm hopping to catch one preloved or grey market for around 1,000 - 1,200.Seppia wrote:I had the chance to try this on a couple weeks ago and it's awesome to say the least.

Re: New Oris Divers Sixty Five
They are available pre-order from a few sources online for less than $1600. The Titan line retails for $2800-$2k and can usually be found used for $1k, so I'm sure once the 65 hype wears down it will be at a similar price.Seppia wrote:I think official msrp is $1800, I'm sure real price is going to be lower once it's been available for a while
