My oldest watch in the collection

Post by Danny_T » Tue Mar 24, 2015 3:22 pm

Check this change up for this evening. So putting back the speedy I thought 'dam the Guess watch I have has been neglected for years'

I've had a few watches when I was much younger but those are long gone and don't even know where they went to be honest. But this one stuck around :)

So what the hell. Since A 'how it all started' thread on another forum I'm on was posted I thought why not give the oldest watch I have some wrist time tonight. Had the crown pulled to reserve the battery and popped it back in, set the date and time and voila. Runs perfect.

Kinda reminds me of the Tag Monaco a bit. This bad boy is over 15 years old!

Neat Danny ! :) Am definitely seeing the Monaco in it like you said.

Looks like a nice heavy watch too !!! Just look at that case, and bracelet ! :headbang:

The dial is fantastic too ! ..Has to be so fun rediscovering this again.

Thanks very much for showing it to us !

Nah. I wanna keep it as is. Let it age gracefully :) Glad I still have it. Good reminder how far along I've come in the watch game and how lucky I am.

I like how the bracelet simply boasts "steel".

That's cool, Danny. I should have kept one of my firsts. Like you said., it takes you back to where you started in the hobby.

You've given me a reminder to get a new battery for my Bulova diver. Probably was 1994.
