I've got a couple like this, but with a combo lock. I can't recall the brand, but I think GunVault. About the same price, same concept with cable to attach.

Good for a small pistol in the car, attaching to motel bed or something stationary. Mine holds a Kahr PM9 / P380 / or J-Frame S&W, plus a reload or two. You could stuff a watch in I suppose.

Most gun safes are fire proof and your stuff like watches and guns still mite be there after a burglary the big safes these travel safes I don't know but it mite keep the maid service from taking stuff when you travel. So not really a stupid idea. The put together safes are good idea from this company if you live in a condo or apartment with stairs take a piece at a time up the stairs and it comes apart so easy to remove if you move kind of a cool idea take a look at there other safes for sale.

Depends on what you have guns for. If it's collecting yes. If it's for self defense no.

I keep one under my drivers seat looped around the seat frame. Good for when the wife borrows the car or etc.
