The Rolex 16710, with Pepsi insert and Jubilee bracelet. I love it.

A bit of a sore point, as I currently have none.

Although I don't have a problem with the size of the BLNR.
Matt's Dreadnought was pretty cool and a Pepsi GMT is a classic.
I also like the Sinn 857 UTC:

And for two sub $1,000 choices, Steinhart Vintage GMT and Citizen Nighthawk (used to own that one, and you can catch a glimpse of my collection before joining DWC):

Re: Your Favorite GMT Watches
Mike, don't have a GMT, and definitely the ones the guys are showing
are favorites. So I just found a few others that caught the eye to
add in for you...

Re: Your Favorite GMT Watches
You're a big fan of GMT's, it seems, Wayne. One I like that doesn't get mentioned often is the old IWC UTC watch.
Re: Your Favorite GMT Watches
I am. My quartz SMP functions well as a travel watch with its independent hour hand. Another true GMT I'd love to have is a transitional Rolex GMT-Master II 16710 /3186.

I'd have to say PAM233. I like that you can hide the GMT hand when not in use. And the domed crystal is just gorgeous.
Re: Your Favorite GMT Watches
AFAIK most GMT watches allow you to "hide" the second time zone hand no?jswing wrote:I'd have to say PAM233. I like that you can hide the GMT hand when not in use. And the domed crystal is just gorgeous.
The 233 is a gorgeous watch. If I were in the market it'd definitely have to have the "DOT" though.

Re: Your Favorite GMT Watches
The second zone hand of an ETA 2893-2 movement (Steinhart Vintage GMT, Sinn 857 UTC also, I believe) does a full run of the dial in 24 hours, so you can't hide it behind the first zone hand (which goes around the dial two times in a 24 hour period).

The 233 is a beauty but probably a bit too big...
