That was great Tony ! :salute: Definitely was interesting. Extraordinary really ! Thanks a lot !

Loved hearing his story, and how he got started, and also how people actually turned his
idea down. Amazing !

By the way, cool seeing that this is actually a watch show that is on over in England.
Always thought there should be watch shows like this on TV. ..Thanks again sir !

Really fun video...George Daniels is so....British. Stiff upper lip indeed.

I've got a co-ax AT8500 and it has performed really well. I'm not totally sure it's the way forward, as there are lots of different ways to increase the durability of an escapement other than this particular complex design. Grand Seiko uses super hard parts, skeletonized to reduce energy consumption and special oil retaining grooves (in the 9S85), a lot of other companies are using silicon escapements which have much less friction in the first place etc. But it's still very interesting, and actually quite beautiful.

Great video. He comes across as both intelligent and genuine. Makes me appreciate my 8500 that much more.

Glad you guys liked the vid. After researching this escapement and learning about Daniels, I'm tempted to put the Planet Ocean ahead of the Bremont S2000 - at the top of my "wish list!"
