Not sure I see the WUS connection... nothing's really changed there day to day (yet), and that place is so different from here. And I don't recognize any of the bunch of new members here of late from there either.

Anyway, welcome to the new guys, I'm still one too! :cheers:

Welcome to the new guys. Hang tight, have some thick skin and you'll probably find this a pretty cool place. If not, no biggie and no hard feelings. :cheers:

Yeah, I don't recognize the new DWC members from WUS either.

Oh, and congrats on your 5k posts on WUS!

Thanks Joe. Can't imagine I've had remotely that much worthwhile to say, but there it is ; )

I say we institute an autoban for threads like "automatic vs quartz" or "what watch should I wear when scrubbing my taint."

The snarky replies do a good (and funny) job of running off the people who insist on making those threads IMO.

You're right. DWC does a good job of self-policing.

Virtual = actual

i only have a handful of watches now. some old omegas that need to be brought back to life (my dad's and my grandfathers) a couple of other older gifted watches from Emily's dad and rick, and my orient mako and g-shock mudman. i have worn the mako and mudman maybe twice each in the past year.
