Hey, don't give it another thought. The chances are high it wasn't YOU that caused the walk-out, but some unrelated factor or combination of factors totally beyond your control and knowledge.

Just move on with the full realization that you definitely have your musical shit together!

Yup, your music selections did not jive with the "country" audience. Now you know to broaden your repertoire. They were just jealous of your talent.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Who gave you the set list? It seems to me they're the ones who screwed you. It's all about the audience. I've seen whole crowds walk out on major acts before the arena days when the promoters were still trying to figure out who liked what.

Rednecks in Conroe Texas. My first wife was 100% country, so there will always be a is soft spot in my heart for it.

Haha ... Conroe. 'Nuff said. (I grew up in North Houston). You got a check, and you didn't get bottles thrown at you so consider it a success.

I used to play alto sax in middle and high school (and some college.) as well as Bari sax and barely but a little tenor.

Oh well no wonder they walked out. If it didn't have a slide guitar and some twangy vocals about a dead dog or a wife/girlfriend leaving you, they weren't interested. Don't sweat that - I think David nailed it when he said not having bottles thrown at you was a success!
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.
