The biggest problem with UA or any fabric of it's type is odor retention over time. No matter what soap or technique I'v tried, it simply wont fix the issue.

Odor retention? As in, your clothes will always smell as bad as you do? That's a plus in some cultures.

Have you tried vinegar? We use it on cloth diapers.

Vinegar? Yes and many other soaps intended to remove the odors. I think there was another thread here once about the why. Someone much smarter than I explained why poly fibers retain odors more than natural fibers. It has something to do with density and or surface area exposure.

I find UA and other tech fabrics itchy when wet. I'll take cotton over tech, most of the time.

pS: Chris is correct.

This is true, my issued UA stuff from military smelled musty the whole time I wore it for a year overseas. I have some UA undershirts that did the same thing so I stopped buying them a few years back. Which sucked because at one time I had a bunch of money invested in UA since that is all they sold in the military exchange stores overseas. :banghead:

The lady who cuts my hair smells like kimchee, I think she eats it before I show up every time  . I can never get use to that smell. :crybaby:

So far the Kirklands have been great with no issues at all. I also picked up some Champions underwear and they are almost as good. They feel like they are all cotton but still are comfortable and don't ride up. Where the Kirklands have around 5% spandex in them without feeling like bicycling shorts.

I fully agree! I switched from UA to Nike Pro Combat, about a year ago...much better!

Whatever Terry wears seems to work fine. I'm wearing an old pair he sent right now, you can see it in my avatar pic.

I hate my Champion brand underwear with a passion - at least 50% too little space for the package. This is in the RR, right?
