Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
Just saw this listed on Gear Patrol, for <$1K I think in pretty reasonable for a watch I wouldn't be too precious about, also a big dual/tri TZ fan boy. Probably have a bit of fun with straps. J

Now that looks cool/vintage-y.
Re: Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
I have several Luminoxes and I'd definitely would be interested in this one. They are pretty bulletproof.

I got a special spot in my heart for Luminox too.

+1 ! Wow, this is different for Luminox. Something about the meshing of theTorrid wrote:Now that looks cool/vintage-y.
classic style case, with the tritium, and whole GMT theme that REALLY works.
Cool Jules ! Thanks for the article, and for showing this one.

Re: Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
I like that, I've owned several over the years. There were a couple I should have kept.

Looks nice enough, but I only want it if SEALS wear them.....

Pretty cool, but a bit busy for me. I still have my original Luminox Navy Seal, bought about 5 days after they became a watch brand.

Re: Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
I dig it but the hands need some work, they don't really compliment the watch imo. Also I can't stand it when people cut up the numbers to put a date window in, either leave the number off or no date window.

I like it.
Some people just have a way with words, and other people … oh … not have way.

I was just thinking about one of these, then I read the specs (from Luminox website) and the lug width is 28mm!!!
Re: Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
Luminox wants you to buy their straps. Some of their models are 23mm, which despite the fact that I own three I can't stand.
Re: Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
loved it, until i looked at the date window
and heard hoppy say: "the lug width is 28mm!!!"

Re: Luminox P-38 Lightning GMT
I like the look, I just can't take the hour indices and that cutoff 3.. Cool one though..
