God help me, please. I'm 69 years old and I just ordered a toy baking powder submarine like those that used to come in cereal boxes. I don't even have any grandchildren.

I remember the Davy Crockett phase clearly, but I never did get any stuff. I have never seen such a craze. I remember attending a Davy Crockett themed birthday party that had a Davy Crockett birthday cake.

Never was into that. I did have a cap-gun SWAT team of neighborhood boys when I was in 5th grade. We used walkie-talkies and deployed to other neighbors rooftops, flower beds, etc. I'd dream up scenarios and put the guys in motion. Sometimes we'd negotiate with the bad guys for a long while. It was usually my friends sister...LOL!
