The ULTIMATE Bracelet for the 300m Saturation Diver!!

Post by DCJ » Mon Jul 07, 2014 9:15 am

Hey Bros,

I have been digging this bracelet ever since I saw it and handled it a while back. It was tough but I talked Chris in at Armida to send me a 22mm Bracelet like this since he does not sell them separately. He is the man! Thank you Chris with Armida. Anyways I was dying to get one for my Saturation Diver and just installed it now. The bracelet is beefy and built to handle anything. Almost like a oyster bracelet on roids. Fits the Orient Saturation perfectly and will be the bracelet I will keep on it. Makes the OS300 very well balanced now. I am super stoked about this bracelet. What do you guys think?...

Would welcome feedback whether you like this look or not. I am loving it but would like feedback on if it looks to be a perfect match for the OS300.

Thanks for looking and your imput,

Don

Personally, the 'ultimate' for me is the Iso, followed closely by the Drew Strap.

I found that the watch is too damn heavy on a bracelet :)

Needs to have a polished area on the bracelet to make the watch coexist with it in harmony.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

I think it looks good. The end links look they blend with the style of the case better than the stock one does.

I agree and was just thinking that myself. I am going to have my watchmaker polished the sides of the bracelet to match the polished sides of the OS300 case. Great point!!

I think OEM bracelet works great.
Too polished for canvas.
ISO looks best on it.

I like it. I actually prefer bracelets to have exposed screws (or whatever) on all the links.

Yup, that works Don ! Orient could package these bracelets right along with
the watches, and it would be phenomenal. The way the links mirror the design
of the bezel, and case is excellent. ..That crown protector area even shows up,
and becomes more noticeable now too.

Awesome Don. Awesome ! Nice idea. Congratulations !

I'm not sure. The watch is smooth and curvy. The bracelet is angular and hard edged. The Halios Bluering had this same bracelet and I had similar issues with this juxtaposition.

Never been a fan of the bracelet on this particular watch, never hated it either.

I think that you have put together a very nice look there given that the bracelet is not OEM. The end links on the bracelet match the size and shape of the lugs quite well, and that tends to be a big issue when putting a non stock bracelet on a watch.

Tape your links on top and bottom and hit the sides of the links with a Cape Cod polishing cloth and you will see some decent results, more than likely. If you feel the need to polish the ends of the links, that is. Do not get any of the polish anywhere you do not want to remove the brushing.

Nicely done.

Had to look up "juxtaposition"....

I'm a huge fan of straight 22mm bracelets and I think it looks pretty good, although something with a rounder link may have been a better match. Not sure though. I think the endlinks work pretty well with the lugs and it'll mesh a little better with polished sides for sure. Nice job!

Thanks guys! I am super stoked about this bracelet and how balanced it makes the Orient Saturation feel. I will definitely polish the sides of the bracelet to have it flow better with the polished sides of the 300m. For some reason the watch just feels better now and it definitely has the look I was after. Looking at it in the mirror, it appears it was made for the watch or came with it. As one poster said, the end links fit very nice and flush to the case.

Well said. I definitely was going after a certain look. I really like a beefy bracelet and cannot stand when a bracelet does not match up to the standard of the watch case itself making it unbalanced. I don't mind a little taper to a bracelet but would rather it not taper at all like this one. I am not saying the stock bracelet was bad but not to my liking on a watch of this size.

I think it looks like it is wearing a bracelet that was designed for an entirely different watch. Isofrane is best to me.

I was thinking...get the sides of the case brushed like the sides of the bracelet...
