Eone builds watches for people with and without sight. They were inspired by Navy EOD Lt who lost his sight in an IED attack. Because a traditional watch requires sight, they build watches with ball bearings that represent the time on a dial so it can be felt.
Definitely a great mission and I think the watches look awesome too.
Here is there website with a video about the inspiration and the watch.

Brad Snyder is an awesome dude. I am proud to know him as a classmate from the great class of 2006, US Naval Academy. He has that relentless drive and unswerving determination that most people cant fathom. He is also featured in a season of "making the cut" about EOD school. It was filmed right before his fateful deployment. Great Navy man, better person.
