Blue Tudor Black Bay

Post by Panerai7 » Wed Mar 26, 2014 8:24 am

I think this deserves a separate thready like the other Basel 2014 releases.
This watch is HOT, a "must buy" for me in 2014.

Yeah, really nice. Very modern looking. Almost a perfect modern no-date, non-ceramic Sub IMO.

Love it!! I'd love it more if it was 42 or 43mm....

That crashing sound is the price on the red version now that this perfect BB is released.

There is no doubt that it's nice but I really like the red bezel model I own.

I think this is a really really nice watch. I love the more austere look relative to the red model (which I also like). I'm really glad they didn't just slap a blue bezel on the red version and call it a day.

I think Red and Blue are beautiful in their own way and can happily coexist in someone's collection.

But that blue....

The blue looks good, but I think I prefer the red with the gilt markers. I also think they should do a version with a date (no bubble).

I try to be careful what I say with new releases. Despite this, my guess is I've already said five things today about new watches that I'll regret in the near future.

I really like the blue, but I wonder if I would like it more to see a blue dial with it. I generally have not been a fan of a black dial with a different color bezel, but this one is definitely intriguing in a very understated way.

Fantastic aesthetics, but at this moment, I still lean towards the red.

It really is a winner. I'd happily wear either BB, and a black/gilt one would have been nice too.

They started with a nice design (the BB). Nobody cares if you slap a blue bezel on a piece of shit design.

I like it but every time I look at it I wish it had a blue dial.

All I know is that you guys are psychic. So many wanted a blue bezeled variation, and now here
it is. Yowza. Really is something !!!

Liking how even though it's a Black Bay, that it doesn't steal the red bezeled versions thunder
with it's gold accents, but instead seems to go with silver this time around. Makes them both
stand alone from eachother, and stand out. Very nice ! Thanks a lot Art !

I like it a lot. If the photos are any indication I'll like it a lot more than the red. Even though the first version really grabbed me in person.

Really liking the blue bezel w/ black dial. Works well IMO. May have to make this my big purchase of 2014.

I think they had something special with the red bezel and the gilt hands, etc. They could have done a black bezel version and kept the gilt.

This blue version looks boring and cheap.

hard to tell with this, keep in mind, as any of us Red Black Bay owner already know....in person it looks way better than any pic I've ever seen...could hold true for the blue as well i guess..
