Very cool. There is a French paras version of one of those watches up for sale at ATG right now. Really cool watches. Thanks.

Weird, a french paras version with Marine Nationale decommission paper? Uhm .....

Actually it seems the Zeno only has a few features like the one you posted

Yes, it is very similar to the Zeno and the Mondia as well. And the civilian version is VERY expensive. I still dont know who has been the first one to design and produce it.

I recently saw the MMT Limited Edition in La Spezia. Huge. I dont like it.

I've seen that web page. I find weird a Beuchat 1000 on sale with Marine Nationale paper and advertized as a paras watch.
But perhaps I'm missing something.
Besides, I know only three types of engravings made on the Beuchat 1000 Marine Nationale:

This was an awesome write up and the reason I discovered this site and joined.

That being said, I have a question about the Citizen watch featured. These are rated at 200m. I have one that is only about a month old and I love it. If I read the article correctly, the Italian Navy tested these watches and found they are good to 500m and therefore decided that they could count on that being a consistent quality and re-labeled their watches to reflect that? Wow. That is pretty darn cool and speaks highly of this quite inexpensive diver's watch.
