OT - Yellowstone trip. . . HTFU!

Post by Kev. » Sun Jun 30, 2013 7:03 pm

Just back from a week in at Yellowstone and received a watch related gift I thought you guys might like. But first a few vacation photos. . .

Image

I took this shot while flysfishing and had my iphone in a ziplock bag, so it is a bit blurry. Still, this is why I go every year.

Image

Here is a sharper shot of a rainbow trout my pops landed.

Image

My wife was happy with this one. I didn't mention it was a white fish and not a trout. She wears an polar EXPII on a nato.

Image

Moody sunset shot. We were on the river until about 9:30 each night.

Image

Bison are always cool to look at, but the baby calf made it even cooler. That and we didn't get gored.

Image

My brother made the trip up from Santiago Chile and gave me this shirt. He is one cool dude.

Image

Later that night, he presented me with this knife. Check out the engraving after the serial number.

HTFU fellas!

Kev.

Looks like you had a good time your brother gave you some cool gifts. Now after you saw the views up there in Yellowstone you know why I am moving up there. Kev if you ever want to see Yellowstone in winter they take groups in on snowmobiles will be less people and more animals to see and mite be a cool trip. Looks like you floated the river to fish you all ways see that on the rivers up there. My new house is by the Madison river were a lot of the locals are guides that float fisherman down the rivers to make extra money during fish-en season.
