Mühle Glashütte Marinus III
Well I have been saving my pennies for some time to make this happen and selling my DOXA finally allowed me to pull the trigger on one of my ultimate grails. I've purchased many a preowned piece but this is my first AD purchase. Finally settled on the great folks at Old Northeast Jewelers in Florida http://www.oldnortheastjewelers.com/ for the stunning Mühle Glashütte Marinus III as the AD. Hoping to see it sometime later this week. Will post a quick pic or two then. Oh I did change my mind and went with the black dial as I thought it would be much more classic. Thanks for looking.

Love it, I think MG is way underrated. I've been really impressed with my 29er Big. Let us know what you think of the Marinus once it arrives.

Mike, that does look like the ultimate dive watch !!! Glad you are getting one
of your grails. It's going to be great hearing how you like it. Congratulations

Well should have it in hand tomorrow if all goes well. Did find out my bracelet had to be ordered separately so will be waiting a few days at least on it. Will have to wear on the strap for a while.

Always loved the Rasmus, and this looks to be just as nice (is it the same case?)
Look forward to your thoughts on this one.

No I actually changed at the last minute and went with the Black dial as I thought it would be more timeless and classic....LOL.Jamie wrote:White dial sweet

Did not care for the white dial I think the black dial will look better. When you go to the link were you bought it the photo's of the watch you ordered the bezel ring looks curved instead of flat like most bezel ring kind of differnt.UKWolfeman wrote:No I actually changed at the last minute and went with the Black dial as I thought it would be more timeless and classic....LOL.Jamie wrote:White dial sweet

Good choice either way, but I prefer the black dial also

Re: Mühle Glashütte Marinus III
Yeah I think some of the brand new versions have a domed bezel but the one I received is flat. No big deal as actually I'm very happy because I feel the domed bezel would just be a scratch magnet. I really didn't ask before they shipped it out to me as to which bezel design I was getting as I could live with either. It would be cool to see in person though.River Rat wrote:Did not care for the white dial I think the black dial will look better. BTW the watch rocks. Can't wait for the bracelet though as I am more of a bracelet guy for tool watches. Will post a quick and dirty pic soon.

Congrats! That is a kick ass watch. I have been eyeing that one myself for a while now, but don't think I can pull the L2L measurement.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Re: Mühle Glashütte Marinus III
Sorry that it took so long guys but waiting on the bracelet to arrive was taxing. Hope nobody minds linking the review. Probably the best wristwatch I have ever or will ever own. Quality right there with some of the Breitling models I have owned in the past.

Re: Mühle Glashütte Marinus III
That is a hell of a watch. By far my favorite of their current dive offerings. I love the big Arabics and the hands on that watch rock. It all works.
Tough as hell looking on that bracelet, too.

Very nice! I tried one on at the recent Watchbuys event in San Francisco and was impressed. Looks even better in person. Congratulations.
