The design is nice, but the dog, the brand name, and the Riccardo name all turn me off.

The name doesn't bother me and I really like the dog. He reminds me of a 1950s TV set.

I'm not sure about the movement.

I like the watches too, the dog is kind of funny... the movement seems to be SeaGull? Did you compare this to any other watch in the same price range? I guess it would be one of the cheaper auto chrono but then again one could get a used Hamilton for that much...
It all depends how much you like it.

Not a bad design, but the name reminds me of this:

And the dog reminds me of this:

A new name and no dial doggie and I might feel differently.

The design of that dial with a dog and that weird name looks like 2 year old did the design.

Yep. I believe that is supposed to be one of the main selling points. There aren't many auto chronos below $500, especially with the same specs (sapphire, 100m wr). Used watches are an alternative ofc

Definitely reminded me of Huey Lewis and the News. And the dog reminds me of a dead modern artist. Forget his name.

I think that Lew & Huey looks pretty good. It reminds me a little of the Hamilton Pan Europ which is no bad thing and I could see it working nicely on a vintage style Milanese mesh. I could see it as being a nice alternative to my more serious dive watches, if I wanted a fairly inexpensive chrono I'd maybe consider it. The Bernhardt Retro Binnacle is nice as well, it's good to see some of these companies putting out some interesting looking stuff with the cushion cases and vintage inspired designs.

With that name I was expecting a Disney watch. (or some Dee and Ricky kind of thing)

I think at the pre-order price they seem like a decent buy if that style suits you :)
