I would rock the 3264 hard.
At 42 mm.

Yup. Love that one.Dixan wrote:I would rock the 3264 hard.

Re: IWC 2013 Ingenieur family
I can't wait to see the 3239 in person. Always having loved the 3227, I never bought one as it always seemed unwieldy on my wrist. I think the 40mm sizing will be perfect, is interested in how the 10mm would wear and I guess it will feel like an AP jumbo. I would have guessed that 12mm would have been the outcome. I can't wait to see the dial colors in person as well as I am not sure which I would prefer.
I love the (ref 3785) Silberpfeil dial and look forward to seeing that one. They show the brown dial on the banner, but check out the silver dial.
I also like the AMG black ceramic. (ref 3225) I think the lines of the Ingy work well with the ceramic material and look.
Every time I look at it, I find the dual time (ref 3264) more appealing, though will reserve judgement after seeing it in person.

Those are phenomenal Steve ! ..Love the stand out design with
all of them. Can only imagine how cool it would be to have one of
them on the wrist with the design of the case, but also to then look
down, and see those beautiful dials. Thank you for the info on these !

Re: IWC 2013 Ingenieur family
I had a chance to fondle and try on most of the new lineup at SIHH this week. Here are some wrist shots...
40mm Auto:
Dual Time:
Perp Calendar Digital Date
Chrono Racer
And this one :
Frankly, I liked the whole new collection, other than the carbon fiber. The plain old 40mm Auto is probably the one I'd go for, or the Doppelchrono Ti, which we saw released last year. Nice stuff. Oh, and then there was this in their booth, Juan Manuel Fangio's 1955 Mille Miglia Mercedes SLR, which I went back to see about ten times.

I liked the addition of the crown guards when I first saw them.
I like them less and less every time I see the watches.

Holy crap.
The watches are fine, the first one is the best.
But the SLR. WOW!

I want the perpetual calendar digital date.
BTW, I hereby declare myself first in line when Jason needs an assistant. You know, to try on watches, so he can take really professional pictures of them.

The MB silver streak is amazing.

$50k? Great Odin's Ravens! Yeah, at that price it wouldn't even be on my radar given the other options out there.JizJizJiz wrote:I love that one too. But at $50k, as nice as it is, I'm not a buyer. Just too many Milles, Mosers, Pateks, FPJs, and APs in that range to compete.Brklynlarsons wrote:I want the perpetual calendar digital date.

And I volunteer to be Jason's small wrist model .

Peculiar that the watch insider states in a blog post and in the comments that it has a Selitta movement.

I can't make up my mind so will need to see one in person... I hope the $7900 is a misprint...
Re: IWC 2013 Ingenieur family
The Watch Insider link also reports $5850 EUR.
