Stolen watch alert!

Post by Batt14 » Sat Jan 05, 2013 11:35 am

My custom made and very unique MKII LRRP was stolen sometime around Christmas. Should be easy to identify if it shows up on the forums. Thanks!

Will be on the look out. When we find it: kneecaps or fingers?

The (former) cleaning lady. How cliche' is that? Though I can't "prove" it, she was the only person who had access to my place during the time period. Must have thought I wouldn't miss just one black watch :-)

Damn, the hired help strikes again. As much as I would LOVE to hire a cleaning lady to help keep Casa DMB in order behind 2 boys, a dog, and your truly, I am not willing to take the risk. We are forever arresting cleaning ladies (hooked on painkillers) for theft. Not that I have anything super valuable, but I do have many things that can't be replaced. I absolutely abhor a thief and ALWAYS book them into the jail, even if I have the option of issuing a misdemeanor summons and cutting them loose with a court date. There are some things I just cannot abide, and thievery is one of them. Crappy coffee is another.

Killer collection. The sad thing is, she (or whoever she gave/sold it to) probably has not clue of what it is. This kind of shit makes me wish we could lash, stone, or chop limbs off for theft here in the US.

Hey Pete, sucks to hear! Will keep a look out for sure.

In the meantime, I see you've done nothing about your Chronosport problem. That is stellar, btw. ;)

That totally sucks!

Hopefully it resurfaces. Did you tip the cleaning woman? That would be insult to injury.

Good luck!

I absolutely detest thieves ... detest them. Public flogging would be a decent punishment. Or lopping off a hand.
