Restoring a Doxa 300T Searambler...

It came like this...

After polishing the case and bezel, brushing the outer part of it, cleaning the dial and painting the scales of the bezel...Here's the final result... :love:

Great before and after photos, nice job. :clap:

Couple of questions for yah, what did you use to clean up the dial & was the lume dot under the black or relumed.

Yes I did it myself...I like to do the easy things ( Polishing, brushing, reluming, changing dials and hands ). Touching the caliber is a task for my watchmaker... :mrgreen:

To clean the dial, great care was taken and rodico, a pencil eraser and cotton. ( Rodico is that blue thing watchmakers use )

Well the first 300T was released in 1967... until 1977 when the watch was retired from production.
