What is your favorite watch?
Is there a watch that may not be your most expensive, but is your favourite watch to wear? This may not necessarily be the most expensive watch you own, like in my case, but it is the one that you reach for the most...
Well, I do -- My Stowa Flieger Chronograph!
IMO - The size is perfect and it wears fantastically on the wrist! Jorg hit a homerun on this model and it is definitely a very well made timepiece. The diameter is perfect for a variety of wrist sizes, the height gives it a great presence while being worn and the design is perfect. These factors, combined with the awesome Micah/Vintager Metta strap that I purchased for it, give it a definite edge over ALL of my other watches!
Here are a few photos:

One of my favorites from the GTG. I'm not a Flieger fan, but I am a big fan of that watch.

It was between my Heuer Bund and my Eterna IDF but the Heuer just looks to cool the dial and hands with a old fashion hand wind fly back chrono movement plus that cool bezel ring and that it has more wrist presence than all my other watches.

Yep, my Sub-C. Honestly, since I got this (and decided it could stay), it's all I wear, every day. I don't event think about it. I admire it, yes, but unlike all the watches that came before it, I don't find myself thinking about "the next one." yes, it's also my most expensive, but even without that, this watch is, dare I say, perfect.

Re: What is your favorite watch?

These two:
If I had to pick just one, I'm not sure what I'd do. The datejust has a lot of personal history for me, but the Sea Dweller is basically exactly what I've always wanted in a watch.

Favorite watch?
I guess I have to go with the Rolex SubC (perfect for me for work and play), but the BPFF, Rolex SD 1665, Rolex Sub No Date and the Doxa 600t Pro are not far behind (SubC wins out because it can do everything whereas the others are a little bit more limiting in terms of work, play/water, size, age, color, etc...).

I think I must say the Sinn U1 because it was a long-time grail for me. However, I must also say I am very pleased with a newly purchased Sumo.

If I responded today, it would be the Explorer.
So I am going to wait a while...
and then say the Explorer.

Re: What is your favorite watch?
My answer is no suprise to anyone who has been around here or WUS long enough.
Like Mark's choice this is not my most expensive piece; in fact it is the least (no counting a GShock). It is also the watch I have held the longest; about five years now.

SD for me.
Re: What is your favorite watch?
It is my most expensive, but I bought it knowing I'd love it even if it was worth $500.
(and if vintage Rolexes are ever worth $500, I'm buying them all).

I'm kinda in the same boat here. While I have other, more expensive watches, the one I find I wear the most these days is my blue Snowflake (true, the MIH has been a constant of late, but I'm still on that particular honeymoon):oldbronco wrote:
