Red Bull Stratos
I'm down here in Roswell, New Mexico covering the Red Bull Stratos. Felix Baumgartner is going to skydive from 120,000 feet. He will go supersonic during the free fall. The current record is 102,000 feet, set in 1960 by USAF Colonel Joe Kittinger. I met both men last night. Both great guys. Zenith is a sponsor and the whole project team is wearing the Stratos chrono.
The jump is tomorrow morning.

Cool! I've been following this Jump. Not too long ago I was reading an article on the design of the specialized suit he will be wearing.
Looking forward to the coverage.

Jason, it it's not too late, see if you can get him to strap a bunch of bacon to the outside of his suit. At that speed, it should cook on the way down. I'm sure he's gonna be famished and well, nothing satisfies like a slab of fresh cooked bacon. Just sayin'....

23 mile free fall....bloody hell that's cool.
I have been doing a free fall every night for the last ten days.....that's from standing up,free falling to the floor and I have injuries to prove it

Re: Red Bull Stratos
Looks like jump is delayed due to weather. Might get it in later today according to my sources.
