Medusa ( I think his name is Cal  ) on WUS makes these. As steam-punkish, sculptural works I quite like his stuff.
As practical watches, well...

My dad was a frustrated, amateur sculptor, so maybe that's where I get my appreciation for stuff like this. I think you've just got to take it with a grain of salt.

Timemachinist

I like it!!

Well actually I like the idea, I think it could be improved quite a bit but the concept isn't bad. I doubt it has any water resistance as I don't see any seals between the glass and the case, it just looks bolted down and I think it really should have a gasket in between, but maybe he has it figured out.

I give him credit for being different and innovative. He just needs to work on some design elements.

Graeme

Totally Steam Punk stuff, but kind of cool in a retro / can't-look away-from-the-horrorific-car-accident-with-lots-of-dead-people sort of way ...

With less dorky hands and dial, I could maybe see that working strapped to a roll bar in a dune buggy.

Would it be possible to even raise your hand if you were wearing this? It looks like an anchor.
