First new watch in 5 months...

Post by manitoujoe » Thu Jul 19, 2012 5:53 pm

So, I sold out of my watches, sat back and hung out with a SAR loaner for awhile. But, as luck would have it, the right place and the right time led to this. Oh, and MasterCard.

I really like this one. I like it a lot.

Hell yeah! Awesome Mark! Didn't you have the SS version of the SAS before? :stir:  I need to see this one before you end up flipping it.

If you're gonna jump back in the pool, you might as well do it with two feet.

Well done, Joe!

I have to say, the PVD makes it a completely different watch. It's sleek and "blacked-out", but incredibly legible. The contrast does so much for this watch. I daresay it is as legible at an angle as my U1 was. And that's not an easy statement for me to make.

I lucked out finding one nearly new at this price. But I can tell the quality on this one is well above retail. I liked the old SAS. I LOVE this new one.

Graeme = genius. Well done, buddy.

Also, in a bit of awesome karma, a 24mm DREW Canvas strap appeared at my door at the same time. Coincidence?

No, worlds of awesome colliding.

More pics to come. :)

Looks good coming home from work on a new 3-ring PVD Panatime. Getting dressed in a Drew strap for tonight. :)

I can't wait to see it on the Drew Canvas. PVD and green are a great combination.
