Anyone in Amsterdam ?

Post by Jem » Thu May 24, 2012 9:08 pm

I'll be heading to Amsterdam towards the end of next week and through the following week. If anyone on DWC is in Amsterdam it would be great to connect for a GTG.

Let me know,
Jem

Nastiest civil servants on the planet, though.
If you have to cross the tracks after exiting a trolley, hustle. The drivers will start the trolley as soon as you start to cross.
Watch, it'll happen every time.

Sounds like this is going to get interesting - I would be surprised if the civil servants are less "Civil" than the greek ones I encountered in Athens and Crete (where the term "Cretan" originated. No offense to our local Greek IWC Timezone Moderator and fellow Angry Dad...

No offense taken; they're assholes of the highest order.

As for Amsterdam, I wish I could help. Shoot Luke an email - doubtless there are a bunch of 'ristis over there who wouldn't mind smoking a bowl with you.

Looks like a couple of hundred dollars - if Amsterdam is getting old by Monday I may come up that way. Anyway to get close to glaciers without a long-haul from Oslo ?
