**I WON** Holding my breath on a snipe bid...
I've programmed a solid bid into eSnipe that will be triggered later today on a watch I REALLY want to win. Unfortunately, I'll be at lunch with a friend when it goes down. Maybe I'll bring my Samsung tablet and see if the sports bar offers wi-fi.
I'll report back in a few hours...

Well, I forgot my tablet at home but my lunch buddy had his iPhone, so I found out that I aced out two other snipers to win it in the closing seconds.
Here are the seller's pics. It's a 1971 Rolex Datejust 1603 with "very low miles." The dial's been refinished, but that's fine with me. The model and serial numbers are correctly engraved between the lugs.

Sweet, I've been looking at black dialed DJ too on the 'bay. Nice example.

Super. I just picked up a grey brother recently. Gonna outfit it with a T-29 and a nice leather. Love the engine-turned bezel as opposed to the usual fluted, personally.
Nice choice!

The other thing I love about this '71 is the rolled steel Jubilee bracelet - - very "vintage."

It's not an AP Jumbo, but it'll do.
But seriously, great catch and congrats on snagging it! On a related note, there was a delectable Mk I GMT-Master on the table at Red Bar tonight and I couldn't help but comment on how comfortable its rolled Jubilee was. That's one terrific bracelet

Adam
