Glen, I didn't notice that book till you pointed it out. So Derek, what's up with "Bad Girls of Japan" and did you accidentally leave your bukaki films on the bookshelf?

Bad Girls of Japan is a great book with many insights into how women fit into contemporary Japanese society. It was one of the books I read in my favorite class in college - "Women in Modern Japan."

My professor, Hiroko Hirakawa co-wrote one of the chapters in the book. She has written some amazing articles about Japanese culture and she presented some interesting corollaries drawn from Edward Said's Orientalism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orientalism_(book)) relating to Japan.
