Congratulate me. I left the house with my checkbook today, and came home empty handed.
The Shopping List :
-o- JLC Master UltraThin (SS -vs- RG)
-o- IWC Aquatimer (2000m -vs- Split Minute)
-o- Omega 2054 (i.e. 2254 + w/ Bond bracelet)
* the one that snuck up on me:
-o- IWC Portuguese Chrono

Behind the Aquatimers at the top are few Jaeger LeCoultre Reversos, and behind that rose gold Portuguese is a Big Pilot and a few Ingenieurs.mattcantwin wrote: ps What are the watches in the case in the IWC shots?

Chris - you shop for the heavy hitters. Nice shopping list.
Your pictures, on the other hand, look like they were taken in a sauna.

So you did not bring one home.
And you need to improve on taking photo's.

Re: I Found The Cure
Sorry bout the photos boys. They certainly do require some imagination/memory/reference-pics. I blame Apple. Next time I'm walking up in there with my camera bag and the tripod (giggle).
I still haven't ruled out the titanium Oris TT1 (lume dial), but it sure does look shiny. BTW, why isn't the Oris Ti grey (like the titanium IWCs above)???
So far, I'm thinking I might just save for a while and work my way toward that Portuguese ...

The sales staff at the Omega place is pretty entertaining (when they aren't just outright frustrating).suddha wrote:...and fishnet! I was wondering the same thing.TikkTakk wrote:Who's the lady in leopard?

Re: I Found The Cure
The Ti TT1 is polished center links,a nd the brushed parts are not as grey as SS. But still feels like Ti. Kinda felt a little bit cheap sounding when you jiggled the bracelet. But overall a great watch! I had the black face version. Loved the case style, 44mm wears like 40mm.vbuskirk wrote:Sorry bout the photos boys.
