*Tip of the Day* (Watch Hands)

Most Seiko and ETA hands are the same size

150 / 90 is the hour and minute hand sizes
The second hands are different sizes though ...

basically hands for the Seiko 7s26 will fit on the ETA 2824 and vice versa

Would you guess that the same is true for the ETA 2893-1 gmt movement and the ETA 2836?

Seems like I remember ETA hands being generally inter-changeable between the lower movements, but not 100% sure?

I have an idea to replace the stock hands on my Hamilton Navy GMT with a pair of 007 hands or -if I really wanna get crazy -- maybe a set of your old RayGun hands I have laying around :fro:

..But beware since auto hands won't fit ETA quartz movements; holes are too big. :) i have to source out some quartz hands now :-/
