Here's the result of my week with the new AP Diver on Hodinkee:

And here's a shortcut to the video (bonus underwater lume shot!):

You continue to set the standard here, Jason; great review, and spot-on in my experience, (though to be honest, the deepest my "experience" has taken me is approximately 14' ).

Regards,
Adam

PS - Ironically, when I describe the AP Diver to others I usually preface it by saying that while it may be ISO certified, you wouldn't want to go wreck diving with it...

Awesome Jason!

Cool wreck dive, AP looks great in depth. :fro:

Is that Goldfrapp? Just dig the Bond like soundtrack. Cool!

Great video, keep it up. Just dig your posts.

cheers, Dave.

Great review and photography. Did you use the Sigma 105 again? The bokeh is kinda dizzy on the first pic and the WB seems to be a bit purplish on the close up.

That bezel is hard to turn though like you said.

Thanks, Dave! And indeed it is Goldfrapp - "Utopia" from her "Felt Mountain" CD.

Thanks! My wife did all photography. She's really turned into a watch photog extraordinaire. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gishanir/s ... 473515744/

I believe the lens used was the Sigma 105mm macro.

Maybe I should start a site that only reviews dive watches underwater and people can send me ones to test and film.

You have the coolest job on earth.

I love how the AP ROO looks on the wrist. Don't know that I'd take it diving.... ;) ......... but it is incredible.

P.S. I can help manage the laborious task of shipping all of the incoming/return eval watches from the big manufacturers.

The ultimate irony here is that my mother wears a fake Baume & Mercier Riviera that was a gift from an extremely wealthy friend of hers who, believe it or not, collects fake watches.

Seriously. :raised:

Regards,
Adam

PS - Even more ironic: she owns a real B&M Riviera that was a gift from my father back in the day.
