Montreal GTG spring edition '11

Post by sharkfin » Sun Apr 10, 2011 3:44 pm

Hi guys, here's a small GTG of the usual suspects with a welcome addition.
Thats JP, Jerome, Jason, Steve, new guy Alex, and myself.

The last time we had a GTG we had the great Noah Fuller. Fun times.
We miss you bro. In our thoughts.

Alex, brought his kick ass emperor to kick it with my puck.

Enjoy the pics. ;)

Here I'm driving to the GTG.
Image

whoa, taking pics and driving in traffic is not a good idea. haha.
Image

here switched it up, getting close.
Image

So, the SBDX005 puck and the SBDX011 emperor finally meet. ;)
Image

Check out how similar they look. hehe. NICE!
Image

I noticed the emperor dial to be much darker than my puck. Black dials look slick.
Image

Alex did an amazing delicate job at modding his emperor. It looks great IMO. classic SS accents like mine.
Fair trade off from the stealth look if you like classic, which I do. ;)

I dumped my G-shocks on the table.

Lets go around the table to see the watch collections.

There was some wheeling and dealing as usual.
Got this off Steve, but forgot to get the springbars. @%$#%@! springbars, no spares at home, can't wear the damn watch. :(

Great to see everybody and catch up. Fun times. ;)
Thanks for coming once again.

cheers, all.
Dave.

Thanks for sharing, Dave. Looks like a great time. Some very cool watches, I particularly enjoyed the Tunas and the OS300s.

Great job, Dave! There really is nothing like being able to sit down with a bunch of like-minded fools and talk shop over some good food and a drink or two (or five, if we're talking about Red Bar).

Well done, sir.

Regards,
Adam

PS - Alex's Emperor mods are pretty slick...

Nice themed GTG. Some interesting models I've never seen. And that BBQ looks good!
