Nassau Bahamas Watch Shops??????

Post by lilreddivinghood » Fri Jan 15, 2010 4:51 am

I am leaving to go diving in the Bahamas......Have any of you ever done any watch shopping in Nassau? There are several watch shops there and I was wondering if anyone has had a good or bad experience. Maybe a reccomendation?
Thanx,

WOW! Have fun... I haven't been to the Bahamas in years.

May be heading to Haiti soon, though. I'll see if there's anything there that's cheap.. :banplz:

Good hunting!

What's that Dom? Room for another diver? Well of course!

Red, sounds like a great trip. Wish I could help you out on the local watch shop scene but I know nada about the shops down there. Hope you take some nice pics though.

Paul, stay safe down there man. From what I've seen on the news, it's pretty damn crazy down there and they just had another 6.1 magnitude aftershock this morning, so things are going from bad to worse. We'll be thinking of ya

Didn't see any watch bargains when I was in Barbados and Bermuda...
In the past, you could always save the state tax (for Mass) if you bought in the Carribean. However, the pricing is as good if not better if you go to an AD out of state.
At least that was my experience...

I would be interested in hearing about your experience.

I had a great time in the bahamas but the best watch store was John Bull.....great selection (Rolex, Omega) but no room for negotiation on the price (not even 10%) so i'll keep my money here in the USA. It seemed like they thought they had a captive audience....... :o
