Yes, my brother is a shit bag, and neither Corvus Watch Co. or I will ever have anything further to do with him, either professionally or personally. Please don't hold the actions of my fucktard brother against me or my watch company. I am a US military veteran and have always been an upstanding, law abiding and moral individual. Thank you.
I'll even let him copy and paste this to the home page of their website free of charge.
As you know this is a small family-owned company. The individual you are referring to has not been a part of this company for quite sometime. Plus, our company has always been bigger than any one individual.
As a family, we are saddened, shocked, and deeply disappointed in this situation. As a company, we continue to operate with a love of the watch business and a passion for our work.
We are moving forward with Corvus Watch Company and its mission to resurrect and reissue rare classic American military watches.
Thank you for your interest,

Good answer, and it definitely makes me feel better about the brand, but, like Steven, not enough for me to plunk down my bones for a Bradley.FlyPenFly wrote:So I emailed Corvus. I asked them what they had to say about one of their founders being charged.
Personally, I feel a lot better about the brand. Whenever we enter into an enterprise, especially with family involved you never know how it will turn out. It looks like Mike at Corvus went into this with the best of intentions and its his extreme bad luck that his brother and business partner ended up being who he is and doing what he did. What a weird situation.
I think it's a shame because its a small American company in the watch world doing something unique stuff with materials and building upon some real American dive watch heritage. Don't see a lot of that. I'm leaning on possibly buying one of their pieces and I'm leaning even more so in that direction.
Hopefully they don't mind me posting this... This is what they had to say:

They should have already gone through a name change and rebranding, and also got out in front of a valid question like yours when doing the name change.
It's a shame that perv ruined things for others, but the stigma of the Corvus name, right or wrong, is going to stick for some time.
