I just think a lot of this is pie in the sky type thinking. For every solid pro argument, there's a solid argument against. Regarding all these potential dates, that I agree are total BS, let's see how relevant GM and others are in 2035, with their "carbon neutrality", which is quite the oxymoron.

There's an inherent problem with downsizing in some markets. Namely, the quality and location. Smaller SF products don't necessarily afford one those options or don't exist.

Obviously moot in many cases, but I don't get lenders/appraisers, the numbers in general, regarding loans on these properties.
