Kodiak waterproof strap worth the coin?

Hey guys, I'm looking at adding this to the shoe rack: http://www.tcstraps.com/collections/original-kodiak/products/ok_black Anyone owned one of these? The attraction is cool leather look but durability to do everything without a strap change. I think it'd be a good outdoor season complement to my 0...

Re: I screwed up AR coating: advice?

Could this be on the underside of the crystal as a result of seepage? Maybe a pressure test to see that it's still water tight?

Re: Marinemaster. SBDX017 or SLA05

Since it's a Thai market edition, buy the sla05 and get a silk suit dyed with the same pattern as the dial for wear.

Re: 000 discontinued?

I saw a rumor on Rolex forum that this model was discontinued. Any truth to it? If so I'm off to my Ad for his You posted 2 months ago this above. Yes it's true Did you off to AD to get it? Yes, I did. I started another thread to showcase the pics because I was so happy with the 000, although at th...

What's with bumping this thread once a month?
Seems like a good thread to discuss the 000 replacement?

Re: 000 discontinued?

I love the watches but have to agree about the brand - the price increases and hubris about what they could sell just got out of hand. If they keep current pricing I'd like to see something like a strap club, where you get both clasps and two straps and then maybe new straps every year for the warra...

Re: Lifespan of OEM bands

I've got mine on OEM gator with white stitching at the moment...takes a while to break in but ultimately makes for a comfy fit.

My AD has calf with white stitch inbound. Looking to build up the strap options a bit.

That is one sweet zenith - I like how they got the date function in there without making the dial look cluttered.

Yeah my next watch was MKII Milsub GMT - crown got stuck and never came off. I was almost a Mkii fanboy before that.

The first time I set my Omega SMP I pulled the crown straight off - it was like a gag watch. I feel your pain.

Does this work on rubber as well? I've had a Seiko Z22 dry up and crack.
Rubber is generally designed not to be penetrated

Wondering if anyone here has worn out the panerai gator or leather? They seem pretty solid so I'm wondering what to expect in terms of lifespan

I used to think I'd never own a manual wind because it was Tok much hassle.
