I love the basic case and lines. Reminds me of the Casio my grandfather wore for ages.

I’ll give him this - he’s clearly listening and playing a straight bat on his replies here. The fact that he can give simple and straightforward answers makes me rethink the brand (and I do like this watch).

I’m currently thinking of buying one from Seiya - any current or former owners want to weigh in? It’s expensive for a g shock quartz but has a ton of features. I’d appreciate some first hand views

Thanks mate - I’ve been scouring the forums for good info on them and with the variety, I think a dozen is about a start on collecting these. So many cool models and they all seem to fit a niche. I’m looking for one of the g steel models next if this aviator G-Shock manages to survive the 7 day flip...

Okay, so am impulse purchase to cover travel and I couldn’t be happier - I dare say this isn’t my last GShock! Has a compass, back light, analog and digital displays - and here I am used to the Panerai base dial!
